Most used materials for crafting our Barcelona costum jewelry

At Rosanna de la Riva, we employ high-quality materials of various types to create our costum jewelry, adding personality and style to each piece. In our workshop located in Barcelona, we meticulously craft each jewelry item individually.
This approach allows us to produce models with a distinct style adaptable to any occasion, whether it’s to add an elegant touch to a party dress or to complement a more casual outfit.

Pieces: Each piece is composed of one or more materials. Brass, pearls, glass, acrylic resin, brass again, mother of pearl, and wood are the most commonly used materials in the costum jewelry we fabricate in our workshop.

Metals: To create our custom jewelry, Rosanna de la Riva uses brass (in almost all products), zamak (an alloy of aluminum, zinc, magnesium, and copper), or pewter. Metals are plated with gold or silver. The finishes we use include gloss, matte, or antique appearance, often applied to the main piece of each jewel and the closures.
Cords: Synthetic leather, wool, cotton, rubber, linen, and acrylic are the materials we use to connect the pieces and shape each bracelet or necklace.
